v24.0.2 — current
Safer Sign-in
Sign-in and the contact form are harder for bots to abuse, a password reset signs out every other
device, and an email address signs you in only once it is confirmed.
v24.0.1
Edit and Tidy Your Reviews
Edit or delete any take-away, learning, note or study entry — words and tags — from Reviews,
where Your study now lives. Clear your activity log from Profile.
v24.0.0
A Truer Day
The day’s score now weighs the spiritual turn, the intellect and conscious action most, counts study
for its consistency, and no longer lets one section — or an untouched slider — carry the day.
What you study is now shown back to you on the dashboard.
v23.0.0
Tag as Much as You Want
Choose how much to tag each day: Regular (introspection alone), Basic (adds sleep, activity and
conscious action) or Advanced (every section), and keep only the sections you want. Change it any
time from the dashboard, Settings or Profile.
v22.0.6
Stands on Its Own
Sopānam now carries its own copy of the privacy and cookie policies, so they always open in their
pop-up. Links shared on WhatsApp and elsewhere show Sopānam’s own preview card.
v22.0.5
A Clearer Cookie Notice
Accept now stands out a shade deeper than Reject, every link and label in the cookie notice is
readable, and the privacy and cookie policies open reliably in their pop-up from anywhere.
v22.0.4
Your Theme, Your Way
The theme button now offers Light, Dark or System — follow your device, and change with it. The privacy
and cookie policies open in a window over the page you are on, so you never lose your place. The cookie
notice is easier to read, and Gurukul now sits at the end of your menu, set apart.
v22.0.3
Rounder, Quieter Buttons
Every button on the website, in Sopānam and in Gurukul now shares one look: rounded, softly glossy,
in a gentle tint of the same warm brown. Chosen options are a lighter shade rather than a bright fill.
v22.0.2
Quieter Buttons, One Policy
Buttons across the app are softer — a gentle tint instead of solid brown. There is now one Privacy
Policy and one Cookie Policy for the whole site, and one cookie choice: accept or decline once, on the
website, in Sopānam or in Gurukul, and you will not be asked again. If you also study in Gurukul,
it now appears in your menu under More.
v22.0.1
Glass, and a Safer Door
Every pop-up — quick capture, Tell us, Tag the day and the rest — now floats as frosted glass
over the page instead of covering it. The menu is shorter: Clarity, Personality chart, Profile,
Settings and Send feedback. The Privacy Policy now sits in Profile → Data & Privacy, beside
the cookie settings. Behind the scenes, sign-up is much harder for bots, and the site is locked
down more tightly.
v22.0.0
A New Way Around
The menu has moved. On a computer it is a sidebar on the left that folds down to icons when you
want the room, with your name in the top-right corner. On a phone or iPad it slides in from the
left: your name and username at the top, every page listed beneath with its icon, and the version
at the foot.
v21.9.1
The Ascent
"Stay logged in" now actually keeps you logged in — three separate causes were undoing it,
including a 30-day cookie that was being silently overwritten every half hour. Sleep no longer
asks for clock times, and study is scored on how you came away from it rather than on a fixed
reflection ratio — so a recorded talk counts the same as an hour with a book.
New: a first-run assessment that sets your own balance of action, feeling and enquiry, and shapes
what you're asked each day; a Journal that finally reads back everything you've written; the
ascent — practice, detachment, concentration, meditation — with the five conditions meditation
asks for shown plainly; Patterns, which says what a single day cannot; and the ability to pause
without breaking anything.
v19.1.4
Fixed: New Accounts Could Not Be Created
Registration was throwing "Something went wrong creating the account" for anyone on a database that
predates v18 and never had its one-time email-verification migration run manually — those 3 columns simply
didn't exist, so every sign-up's database insert failed. Every other database column that changed around the
same time already self-heals on its own; these three didn't. Now they do too, automatically, the first time
the app touches the database — no manual migration step needed anymore.
v19.1.3
Fonts Reverted, Watermark & Auth-Page Fixes, Sleep/Study Sub-Tabs
Reverted the app's typeface back to Playfair Display / Inter (from v15/v17). Fixed the "Thought for the
Day" watermark being invisible and a dashboard widget icon that had drifted out of position. Auth pages
(register/login/forgot/reset) were missing a stylesheet, leaving an unstyled icon box and unstyled buttons —
fixed. Sleep and Study are now sub-tabs within day-entry's Overall step.
v19.1.2
Webapp Install, Favicon & Cookie-Consent Fixes
Fixed "Save as Web App" not picking up the right icon or name (a broken manifest path and a name mismatch);
corrected the oversized site favicon; found and removed a second leftover cookie-consent bug silently
overriding the real "Manage Preferences" button.
v19.1.1
First Design-Feedback Pass on the Serene Path Redesign
Bottom nav restyled; Personality Chart radar-overflow bug found and fixed app-wide; day-entry Body step
re-labeled; Reviews hub icon/text markup bug fixed.
v19.1
"Serene Path" Redesign
New warm-alabaster palette; day entry rebuilt as a step-wizard; Chart.js-powered charts re-themed; cookie
consent popup re-themed.
